The Uh-Oh Game

Well, Andrew is moving right along with his language development.... Although, I may be the only one that speaks the language he's developing. Here are some of his new "words":

Ya-ya = Yogurt. Wow, can Andrew eat some yogurt. He loves any flavor, and yes, he can practically feed himself... with a spoon! (Not too shabby for a 15 month old.)

Pua-pua = Poop. He actually barely makes a sound when he says this. It's more like just making the noise that the letter 'p' would make. As of now, he doesn't lie, so if he says this, grab the wipes.

Upa = Up. He usually only says this in response to a question about the stroller or high chair. For example, "Do you want to get up?" If he's ready, he'll say, "Upa!" (I think the "ah" sound at the end is because I say "up" real hard.)

Mommy and Daddy = Ma-ma & Da-da, duh This is a work in progress, but more and more he says our names like a "big boy".

Bawbuul =Bubbles. Like most babies, Andrew loves bubbles. The fun part for us is that he can ask for them by name!

Pwee = Please. How freakin' cute is that? He's already got manners... who knows where he got those?

And last, but defiantly not least, Andrew can say.....

Uh-oh = Oops = the beginning of the end of my sanity. Uh-oh not only means oops, but it apparently also means there's about to be an oops. FYI- There's ALWAYS about to be an oops with a 15 month old. Hence, we are in the midst of the rollicking fun game... The Uh-oh Game.

The Uh-oh Game Would you like to hear Andrew's super cute "uh-oh"? No need to sign up to be a contestant for this game show. All you have to do is be near Andrew and ANY object that he can pick up and drop. Once this happens, you will hear his sweet, angelic voice utter those two syllables that get old real fast. If you're lucky, you can sometimes catch the uh-oh before he has even dropped the item. It's amazing. How could he possibly know that it would fall out of his hand? He must be a genius.

PS: Here's a picture of poor Andrew eating beans... before his butt was broken. (And no that glass of beer isn't his... he still prefers the bottle. :))
