The Easter Bunny hopped his way to Grandma Sharon and Paw-Paw's house the weekend before Easter. Andrew was super excited! He kept trying to hold the eggs in his had while picking up new ones. Then his basket began to overflow. He dropped several and became frustrated quickly. I know what you're thinking, "A two year old? Quickly frustrated? Never...." The grown-ups learned to quickly to scoop up the dropped eggs and hold them out of sight, so he had could blissfully search for more eggs.
Once inside, Andrew had to open each egg and inspect the contents. About half of them had coins for his piggy bank, some had foil wrapped chocolates, and the others were filled with marshmallows. For the coins and the foil wrapped candies, he just pushed those aside... With the marshmallows, it was a different story. He just kept saying, "I need more. I need more." Or at least that's what we think he was saying through the 10 marshmallows already in his mouth. Yeesh.
It was a fun morning, and we all ate our weight in sugar! The Easter Bunny also found his way to our house on Easter morning, and I will share those soon... as soon as I can figure out the camera. (Anne vs. The Digital Camera- a saga continues.)
